The North Calgary real estate market offers so many options to prospective home buyers. Not only are there older neighborhoods here with classic homes, like in the North East, but there are also brand new developed communities, many of them in the expanding North West.
The homes for sale in North Calgary tend to be listed at slightly lower than other parts of the city. Slightly under half a million dollars for a home is often the case here, with a wide array of luxury properties available as well.
At the edges of North Calgary, you’ll be able to find prairie and country style homes, or be able to take advantage of the available land for sale and build whatever type of home you want.
The newer neighborhoods, like Tuscany, Redstone, and Sage Hill, will typically have homes on quiet streets that are made private by cul-de-sacs. Closer to the city, in communities such as Dalhousie, Rundle, and Aurora Business Park, the homes are still found on quiet residential streets, surrounded by amenities and services. The most common home style in North Calgary is a craftsman-style bungalow.
